I should also note that I did not want to spend a ton of money making these no candy Halloween bags. We just had my son’s birthday party, where I handed out goodie bags to the same kids a week ago. I also had to make 20 bags for my son’s class, which is a lot of bags to make- plus I will need treats for trick or treaters. I also had to keep in mind that the kids in my son’s class are 3-4 year olds, so I had to keep their age in mind when making these bags.

What is in my no candy Halloween Bags?
I lucked out finding cute bags and plastic spider rings at a dollar store in town. I purchased 1 set of bags (20 in a set) and 2 packages of spider rings (10 per package). I spent $3.75 for these three items, which is very inexpensive.
I wanted to add one more item to the bags. Again, I did not want to add candy to the bag. Last year my son received stamps and pens… Although it was cute, a three year old should not have pens or stamps. Both were quickly taken away from him. I did not want to add a messy item to the bag.
After a search on Amazon, I found the perfect item to add- stickers. Kids love stickers. Let’s be honest, I love stickers too. A package of stickers has always entertained my son- and do not make a mess. Here is a link to the stickers I purchased:
The stickers package I bought were $7.99 for 36 sticker sheets. A great price for that number of stickers (about 22 cents a sheet). The quality of these sticker sheets are great. So each Halloween bag that I made comes to… 41 cents! It is so exciting that for less than $8.50 I am able to hand out a fun little gift to all 20 kids in my son’s class!

Some more great “no candy” Halloween options
Another great option I saw on Amazon which I considered was these adorable necklaces. I think these necklaces would also be a fun alternative to candy. I actually did not buy because someone handed out at my son’s school last year- and he still has it! Here is a link to necklaces, which come in a package of 12:
Another great item which you can buy in bulk on Amazon and I think would make a great alternative to handing out candy are these bracelets:
Kids of all ages would like these cute bracelets!
Another great idea for slightly older kids would be these cute Halloween theme air planes:
I think my son would love these airplanes (if someone else put together).
Everyone loves handing out and getting candy for Halloween, but I really like these no candy options to hand out. Many kids have allergies and some schools do not allow candy to be handed out, so you may need to have some no candy Halloween treats ready! It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, I have learned from my toddler that cute, simple toys can lead to hours of entertainment.
What are you handing out for Halloween this year?
